Rev. Katy Cuthill Steinberg
Bio: In 2015 it became clear amongst Katy's social contacts, that there were inadequate venues for spiritual exploration for people who didn’t feel like they fit or didn’t feel welcome in churches. Thus the idea was born for Missing Peace (read Pink Haired Mermaid Baby Jesus for more) a unique, nomadic worshiping community. While pandemic shook things up, the group continues to gather through facebook live for a weekly sunrise service. Katy also loves coaching individuals and institutions toward their unique calling in the world. After one such coaching gig in 2021, she was asked to come on board as Senior Pastor at First Presbyterian of Daytona Beach. They have since sold their property, developed new identity, and are creating unique vision and mission in Downtown Daytona Beach. In addition Katy is a CoCreator for Daytona Pride, a contributor on the Boss Lady and Green Lectionary podcasts, and co-author of Wholly Leading: Thoughts, Meditations, and Practices for Whole Self Leadership.
