Patrick Preacher
Bio: Patrick (he/him) currently serves as the Queer and Justice Ministry Coordinator and the Pastoral Intern at Trinity Lutheran Church in Greenville, SC. He is also a student at Wartburg Theological Seminary where he is pursuing his MDiv in Word and Sacrament in the ELCA. Prior to hearing and (and finally accepting) a call to ordained ministry, Patrick was a classical musician. As an oboist, he received degrees from Furman University, the University of South Carolina, and finally a Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Southern California. While music still fills his heart with joy, the sharing of the good news of God in Christ for all people, and the call to proclaim queer people as created perfectly in the image of God feels like what he was created to do. Patrick cherishes living life with his husband Jonathan and their amazing son Grayson.
