Charity Muse
Bio: Charity Muse is an author, singer/songwriter, and coach at the intersection of spirituality and LGBTQ+ inclusion. As a former therapist who specialized in spiritual trauma work and survivor of a cultish church, Charity approaches spirituality with empathy, openness, and a sense of wonder. She has been a life-long lover of nature, and her own spirituality and connection to God are deeply rooted in trees, rivers, stars, moss, and the tiny wildflowers which are often overlooked or discarded. Her music has been described as reflective and folky, justice and peace centered, and poetic. Charity’s first novel Broken to Belong was published in 2022, and her poetry has been featured in lesbian poetry collections. She serves as a worship leader at a United Church of Christ congregation and teaches inclusion and spirituality through her Embodied Affirmation School. She lives in North Georgia with her wonderful wife and their two amazing kids.
