Bio: The Story Arts Workshop was founded in Savannah, GA in 2014 By Patrick Young and a handful of intrepid storytellers. Since then, Patrick has been embarrassing himself and audiences alike while endeavoring to tell 5-7 true personal stories. His first hauntingly awful story told was in a story slam in Philadelphia in 2010. Patrick has doggedly tried to improve his storytelling skills and bring the willing and unwilling along with him. He has organized and emceed numerous storytelling events from the competitive to the casual, from rowdy full houses to the personal and intimate, both in the wild and at The `Goose. Patrick lives in Jacksonville, FL, with his wife Sara Thompson, 1 dog and 3 cats. He is a carbon based life form who needs coffee and is an ENFJ on the Myers-Briggs zodiac.
