Kevin Georgas
Bio: I'm one of the co-pastors at Jubilee Baptist Church in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, a church organized around the belief that the Gospel entails us working together to pay off each others' debts. Jubilee has experimented with debt liberation through direct cash transfers, debt liberation circles (small groups of people who pool money to make payments on each others' behalf), and a recent fundraising campaign with RIP Medical Debt. I'm also a high school humanities teacher and a writer, and am constantly exploring the intersections between theology, politics, and art.
