Bio: Barb Hedges-Goettl (pronounced “GATE’-L”) is a word nerd who loves to play with liturgical language to expand our images of God and what God can do, and also to carry a theme throughout a worship service. Barb has been a PC(USA) pastor for over 30 years. Originally (and often) living in Philadelphia, Barb, her husband Len, and labradoodle Cocoa now live in Rehoboth Beach, DE. They have four grown children in various locations. Barb is currently Interim Pastor of a small older congregation on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Barb has a Ph.D. in Liturgical Studies from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL. Barb has written liturgical resources for the PC(USA), and for the Revised Common and Narrative Lectionaries.
