Sarah, a poet-activist and advocate for queer spaces, has been recognized for her impactful work in dismantling misconceptions through poetry. Meanwhile, Chris, an illustrator lauded by the McDowell County Arts Council as a local folk artist, channels his talents to amplify narratives often overlooked.
United by their shared anguish in witnessing genocide in Palestine, Sarah and Chris found solace and a powerful means of expression through co-creating art. Together, they have embarked on a journey to bridge gaps and redefine narratives, particularly in addressing the human side of the Palestinian story.
