Bio: My name is Kassidy Beane and I am the founder of the HippieCatholic. The HippieCatholic is an online community whose mission is to start a conversation between the world where the Holy Spirit moves and the Church where the Most Holy Eucharist resides. I have been creating videos, podcasts and blogs for 5 years! My largest presence is on TikTok where the ministry has over 31,000 followers. The HippieCatholic is an online ministry that focuses on activism within the Catholic Church. My ministry is LGBTQ+ affirming, pacifist and seeks justice for all communities that experience oppression, whether that be from the Catholic Church directly or by other worldly forces. My content provides education and resources on a variety of topics including Catholic theology, mysticism, folk catholicism, religious history, activism, current Catholic news, spiritual discernment and mental health.
