Bio: paula rainey benson is a visual artist and songwriter exploring the concepts of authenticity, alignment, wholeheartedness, and embodiment... and how those concepts intersect the lived experience of growing up in a faith tradition that often discourages those ideas. Much of the content of paula's work is influenced by writers, speakers, and podcasters such as Brené Brown, Glennon Doyle, Vienna Pharaon, Danté Stewart, Cole Arthur Riley, Andrea Gibson, and Elizabeth Gilbert; in addition to countless visual artists, such as Mark Rothko, Alberto Giacometti, Georgia O'Keefe, and Charlie Mackesy; and musicians, Jennifer Knapp, Brandi Carlile, Jars of Clay, Tracy Chapman, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Gregory Alan Isakov, Joan Shelley, David Wilcox, and Christie Lenée.
