Bio: I am a sometimes speaker, not-often-enough poet, aspiring memoirist, full-time Marriage & Family Therapist (psychotherapist), overtime worker for Mental Health and Harm Reduction Justice, reluctant and clumsy leader, passionate stigma shatterer, eager student, and all-the-time proud mother and lover of my family (legal and chosen), critters, trees, trails, music, and all things purple. I first came home to the WGF in 2016 and soon joined the extra fun of volunteering, finally rising to the level of my incompetence in 2023 when I agreed to help stand in Shawna Bowman’s beautifully creative and inspiring shoes for Studio curation during their sabbatical, despite the absence of artistic talent in my bio. Thankfully, Shannon Mullen and I stumbled in complementary ways and with enough forward momentum to gather a workable space. Having been asked again to help tend the Studio, I have pulled on my simple, functional, purple Keens again to gather the space, spirit, and people for the Studio.
