Dan Quinlan
Bio: Dan Quinlan is the founder and Executive Director of SolaVida - a grassroots non-profit founded in 2013. The mission statement of SolaVida is to ‘draw new constituencies into the crucial push for a deeper and faster response to the challenges of climate change.’ SolaVida is committed to engaging on the ground – acting as a small but mighty ‘think-and-do tank.’
Dan is active in various capacities with multiple organizations across the US working on climate change and clean energy. In recent years, he has been very engaged with networks of people who are working at the intersections of storytelling, advocacy, public policy, civic engagement, community building, and philosophy/spirituality. Dan is a graduate of the Center for Action and Contemplation’s Living School, as well as other less compelling centers of education.
