Bio: Fe Anam Avis is an entrepreneurial humanitarian. After working in satellite reconnaissance and pastoral ministry for two decades, he turned his skill set and experience to addressing a variety of human needs. In the wake of Hurricane Mitch in 1998, he created a non-profit relief organization, and led a frontline effort providing food, medicine, clothing, and housing in Central America. After learning of the AIDS epidemic in Honduras he founded a home for abandoned HIV positive children: Montana de Luz. He has created sustainable movements focused on faith communities in transition, the suicidal, and victims of domestic violence. In 2018, he recognized the growing problem of older parents estranged from their adult children, founded the PEAK Support Network (Parents of Estranged Adult Kids), and published a resource by that title. Since then he has connected with hundreds of estranged parents, led multiple recovery groups, and trained clergy, therapists and other professionals.
