Elaine A Heath
Bio: Elaine Heath is the Abbess of The Church at Spring Forest, a rural, United Methodist new monastic community in Hillsborough, NC, where she also shepherds a herd of goats. Her vocational journey includes having served as Dean of the Divinity School at Duke University, and the McCreless Professor of Evangelism at Perkins School of Theology. She is a pioneer in new forms of theological education, and a forerunner and mentor in the Fresh Expressions movement within the UMC. Heath is the author/co-author of many books, including The Mystic way of Evangelism and Trauma Informed Evangelism.
