Rex Foster
Bio: Rex Foster is a spiritual seeker and nonprofit professional who is committed to strengthening communities and society through research and collaboration. Rex has facilitated numerous workshops and retreats on topics related to contemplative spirituality and mindfulness. He has also worked with churches, Fortune 500 companies, and community-based organizations in areas including strategic planning, community engagement, action research, public policy, economic justice, food justice, and affordable housing.
Rex is the co-creator of “Spiritual Keys: Stations of the Heart”, an interactive contemplative experience inspired by 12 original works of art (by artist Annie Howe), each crafted to facilitate personal reflection and spiritual insights. Rex earned his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota and his bachelor’s degree from Baylor University. He lives with his family in Austin, Texas and loves live music, tacos, and being outdoors.
