Make Believe

The patron saint of the Tent of Make Believe is Mr. Fred Rogers. Throughout his long career Mr. Rogers taught us all about offering love, belonging, and grace to all of God’s people in order to establish the beautiful and beloved neighborhood.
Mr. Rogers was a Pittsburgh Theological Seminary graduate who was ordained as a Presbyterian pastor to do ministry through television.
1001 New Worship Communities is the church planting movement in the Presbyterian Church (USA) today. We consider Fred to be the Original Presbyterian Church planter! He created a community everyday with the young children and guardians that tuned in to hear his message of love and explore the land of make believe with him.
