How about a Savoring Safari ?
Explore a spectacular world of beauty, mystery, and awe.
A world that is mostly unknown and literally right at our fingertips.
In this workshop, you will learn to use a jeweler’s loupe and other tools to examine and savor wonders of our amazing world.
Participants will begin their safari by picking up a jeweler’s loupe and looking closely at a few common natural objects.
Relax. Enjoy. Refresh. Record your observations. Create a free verse poem. Make a sketch. Think of ways to use what you have learned.
Becoming familiar with the creation helps us understand more about the Creator.
The more we learn and understand about creation, hopefully, the more we will love and want to protect God’s gift.
Loupes and other magnifying tools, items to observe, paper and pencils will be provided
This 50-60 minute workshop is suitable for ages 10-adult.
