Description: Protestant Christians have inherited a boring, simple cosmology. There are only three locations: earth, heaven, and hell… and maybe not even a hell! Yet, Christian history, scripture, and apocrypha host a dense and under-discussed spiritual cosmology filled with psychic dimensions, aerial toll houses, inner heavens, gardens at the earth’s center, and more. In this workshop, Kaleb will guide participants through the extended universe of Christian cosmology, explain the role of alternative states of consciousness in conceptualizing these realms, and suggest practices to create a new sense of sacred space for our daily life.
