The pen is more powerful than the sword.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Can art create change?

I say yes!

Even though I had been blogging for a couple of years as the NakedPastor, it was when I started drawing cartoons to convey meaning that things started happening.

We can scroll past written posts that we don’t like or disagree or are bored with.

But when we see an image, like one of my cartoons, it’s already too late.

In a split second, the art bypasses our intellectual biases and all our defence mechanisms and goes straight for the heart of our being.

This is how transformation can happen and we can become a new creation… not only in ourselves but in our communities and in the world!
