So-and-so started their life ‘on fire for God’. Their days were spent in a passionate love-affair, filled with so much wonder and awe.
But, everything changed when the contradictions attacked.
Maybe it was that loved one who wasn’t healed (or possibly even died) after being prayed for.
Maybe it was that mindblowingly ‘accurate’ prophet, later exposed as an outright fraudster.
Maybe it was the rigid dogma and hardline stances.
Whatever the cause, in an effort to recover from the hypnotic haze of group-think and cognitive dissonance, deconstruction often leads quite a few of us to throw the supernatural out all together.
But, is this the only viable solution?
