Description: All students, campus ministry staffers, and other Wild Geese who care about progressive Christian life at colleges and universities are urged to gather for our annual ZOE workshop. Brian McLaren and Jim Burklo will share the latest about the growing ZOEoncampus.com movement, and get a conversation started about best practices in campus ministry and the current attacks by right-wing forces against higher education... all while having fun making prayer beads for meditative contemplation! ZOE is a national network of progressive Christian ministries, across denominations. By affiliating with ZOE, campus ministries project an explicitly progressive identity in order to attract students. ZOE is deeply rooted in the Christian tradition of contemplation and action, passionately committed to working with people across spiritual traditions for the common good, and dedicated to racial, gender, ecological, and economic peace and justice.
