Description: Over the past several years, psychedelics have emerged as powerful entheogens with properties that, when used with reverence and intention, may bring healing to a host of human illnesses - mental, physical, and spiritual. In this conversation, we will wonder together if psychedelics, especially nature-based plant medicines, might hold a sacramental agency powerful enough to address what many see as a dying Church. Do psychoactive plants offer sacred wisdom that offers healing to Christianity itself? Is the emerging “psychedelic renaissance” bringing about an expanded human consciousness that could reconcile our differences around gender, sexuality, biblical authority, institutional power, etc.? Where is God in all this? All are welcome to this open-hearted, open-minded conversation – no psychedelic experience necessary!
