Description: With connection, contemplation and conversation, we will together endeavor to banish the shame and secrets often involved in unbalanced relationships with those addicted, replacing the notion that authentic Christian love requires extreme empathy and self-sacrifice with a new understanding of detachment and boundaries as a form of prayer. Part lectio divina, part 12-steps, we will share stories of how letting go of enmeshed relationships with mercy is not only possible, but also makes room for God’s perfect love.
