Description: As a queer pastor, I sometimes find myself in a strange liminal space. On one had, there's the typical homophobia that the Church spouts (which hurts, even if it's expected). On the other hand, there's the harsh treatment from queer folks who have left the church-- as if they view me as a traitor to the LGBTQ+ community because I've kept my Christian faith. How do we faithfully embody both spaces? If you have the same experiences, this conversation is for you. Let's gather around a table and share how we hold onto both our queerness and our faith (and how we survive the liminal space in between).
Please note that this conversation is for members of the LGBTQ+ community only. While we appreciate our allies, we need queer-only spaces like these where we can process our experiences.
