Description: How do you make decisions? While working for the Center for Humanistic Change Richard explored “decision making” with inmates on work release at his local county correctional facility. He used a seven step decisional paradigm originally developed by Milton “Mickey” Burglass while he was incarcerated in a Louisiana prison in the mid-1960s. After Burglass’ was release he attended Harvard University where, for his doctorate, he formalized his decision-making process into the highly successful program known as Thresholds. Come explore the decision making process of the Thresholds program with Richard.
