Description: Recently, mushrooms and other fungi have become socially popular. There are fungal puzzles, fungal apparel, even fungal experiences like foraging and gathering. But something we rarely consider is the spiritual importance of mushrooms (and I don't mean psychedelics!). Without fungal lives, the plants we rely on for food, beauty, and imagery would be impossible. Fungi are living connections, bridging the gap between species, and redistributing resources to keep any one plant from hoarding them. Could there be a better time to talk about the connections, literal and figurative, that fungi provide?
