Constantly Connect with Others about Saving the Us and Earth
Time: Fri 3:00PM
Venue: Episcopal
Style: Experiential
Content Type: Workshop
Description: To save the earth we have to make big change in the next 8 years and the only way to do this is involve more people in making change. Using Katherine Hayhoe's book Saving Us as a jumping off point, this interactive workshop will share some exciting positive developments that make living green better (even exciting). You'll consider ways you can talk about how living lightly on the earth is not only good for the earth but good for us (e.g. makes skiing better for skiers, leads to less health problems, tastes better, etc.). You'll walk away with ideas on how you can talk about earth care (in a positive fun way) with your own circle of friends and acquaintances. Two copies of Saving Us will be given to participants at the end of the session.
