Description: Moving from Fear to Love through the Power of Forgiveness: An Evidence-based Spiritual Practice that Can Change Your Life
Forgiveness is a profound spiritual tool for flourishing in life. Jesus had a lot to say about forgiveness. It’s at the center of the Lord’s Prayer. But we don’t often understand forgiveness – what it is and what it isn’t, or how to do it.
Please join us for an introduction to the Stanford Forgive For Good forgiveness practices and explore ways in which it can help your life flourish. Lyndon will offer a brief didactic presentation on these dynamic principles of forgiveness, followed by experiential exercises that will uplift and heal. The benefits of forgiveness, as measured scientifically, is indisputable (see Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins).
If you are nursing a grudge, if you are harboring a desire for revenge, if you have regrets over mistakes made, - or if you’re just stuck - this workshop is for you!
Lyndon’s surprising journey to forgiveness began at the foot of the South Tower of the former World Trade Center on the fateful morning of 9/11/01. The mercy of God and the practice of forgiveness helped him recover his life after that tragedy.
