Description: Fire! Fire! Fire! What can we grab as we leap out the window of the “burning” church that will serve to reclaim faith practices that nourish, sustain and connect us? Rooted in the past, and looking to the future, how can we ground ourselves in spiritual activity given the realities of today, and the epidemic of loneliness we are currently experiencing? This interactive workshop will look at principles of trauma-informed ministry to heal us and our communities of faith. What is worth keeping, or re-discovering? What newly found practices can help build our connections with each other, and with God? Participants will learn strategies to build connections, find purpose, and create transcendent moments that help us write the story of our lives, and the story of our faith communities, the story of a future full of hope.
