Description: This workshop invites participants to connect with an aspect of nature that calls to them in order to deepen their relationship with our Earth-kin. Drawing on her book Rooted and Rising: Voices of Courage in a Time of Climate Crisis co-edited with Margaret Bullitt-Jonas, Rev. Dr. Leah Schade leads participants through a ritual of deep listening with the natural world. Our primary questions for our Earth-kin will be: \What is it like to be you in this place?\ and \What message do you want me to bring back to the council?\ These questions and reflections will help us foster compassion for all life-forms and heal the splits that separate human beings from God’s Creation.
